Since 2015, WLXU 93.9FM (English) and WLXL 95.7FM (Spanish) have filled the airwaves with local voices from our multilingual, multicultural community. Our volunteer show hosts produce hundreds of hours of hyper-local content each year.  Our programming ranges from local news to public health & safety info to local music and the arts, to current events and pop culture.

Every voice counts. Every story matters.

At MEDIALEX, we believe everyone deserves to hear their story told, and that includes you! 

All you need is an idea.

MEDIALEX is a free resource for everyone in our community. You don’t need previous broadcast experience.  Our show hosts include: parents, grandparents, musicians, artists, poets, professionals, nonprofits, athletes, K-12 and college teachers and students, and retirees.  If they can do it, so can you!
